To break this traditional image and reach a much wider range of target consumers, Ocean Empire has stepped up onto Social Media and leveraged Online Marketing tools to maximize its online presence and promote its new products.

Facebook Fan Page
Ocean Empire leverages its Fan Page to announce up-to-date information about the brand and its products. The Fan Page also hosted a Naming and Slogan Design Competition for fans to participate in its new product launch, and thereby created a sense of belonging. Guru Online provides a full scope of consultancy services including fans recruitment, creative feeding and close maintenance to maximize fans stickiness and engagement.

Facebook Application
To raise fans’ awareness towards the launch of new dishes, two game applications have been launched on the Fan Page. The first one was the Naming and Slogan Design Competition, where fans were encouraged with incentives to name Ocean Empire’s new dish and design a slogan.

The second was a beat-tapping game, after playing which users would be able to download cash coupons and use them for dining discounts, which ultimately increase loyalty to Ocean Empire.
